In 200-250 words or less, prepare your personal statement on the topic “How your nationality dresses

The Caucasian dress code had always been in some sense the same, men had very dark coloured clothes while women would have long beautiful dresses but never anything too short. within modern clothing it actually stayed pretty much the same more variety had of course been introduced but most of the fundamentals are the same for example most Armenian men nearly dress the exact same black jacket with light black pants. Even in times of modernity Armenian people stick to tradition but in a more subconscious way.

Study problems – help is here

Ask E-tutor

Hi! I’m E-tutor, or Emma. I’m here to help with any study-related problems, whether big or small.

– Meg

What should I say to my sister?

Hi, E-tutor. Unfortunately, I share a bedroom and a desk with my elder sister. She continually distracts me because she’s noisy and disorganised. I think she’s disrespectful. I’ve got exams in a fortnight and I desperately need to revise. I can’t concentrate when she’s studying too and the desk is always overflowing with stuff so I can’t find anything. If I try to have a dialogue with my sister, she gets annoyed. Can you help?

– E-tutor

Re: What should I say to my sister?

Hi, Meg. That’s a common complaint between siblings. Why don’t you discuss a rota system so that you use the desk at different times? Or maybe you could study at the local library, cultural centre or community centre a few days a week. Make sure you’ve got storage space for everything on your desk: folders and containers for your paper and stationery. If everything has its own place, it will be easier to keep orderly. It might even be enjoyable to do this together. If it’s easier to write instead of talking face to face, try messaging her and explain how awful you feel.

– Rudy

Against the clock

My problem is time – or lack of it! Next month I’ve got 12 exams in three weeks. How can I possibly study for all of them? It’s complicated. I think it’s impossible.

– E-tutor

Re: Against the clock

Hi, Rudy. It isn’t impossible but you DO have to get started NOW. Make a study plan and highlight periods of study time for each subject. Make a detailed plan for this week and then do the same for the weeks ahead. It’s better to study for an hour or so a day than just once a week, all day. Your brain needs time to process information.

– Hayley

Disaster

My problem is silly and a bit embarrassing. I just find it hard to study. I always stop and start and I keep getting the impression that I’m learning the wrong things. I’m a disaster. I don’t think you can really help me.

– E-tutor

Re: Disaster

Hayley, your problem isn’t silly at all! It’s very real and lots of people experience the same thing as you. Sometimes things improve if they join a study group. Set up a group and meet a couple of days a week after school to study together. Take turns to give presentations and teach other what you know. It’s called ‘peer teaching’ and is an effective and efficient practice for lots of students.

II. Circle True or False for these sentences.

  1. Meg doesn’t respect her sister. True False
  2. Meg finds it difficult to talk to her sister. True False
  3. E-tutor thinks Meg’s problem is unusual. True False
  4. Rudy believes he has an impossible task. True False
  5. E-tutor thinks Rudy needs to start studying immediately. True False
  6. Rudy needs to study a little and often. True False
  7. Hayley is confident that her problem can be solved. True False
  8. E-tutor recommends that Hayley studies with a teacher. True False

Euthanasia ir it right or wrong

For me this question has no moral ambiguity it an exponentially easy question to answer but it lies within culture and especially cultures that have religious authority in their social hierarchy what that means is that life must be always preserved for it is the gift of god that you are destroying thew human body. My general consensus is that its a flawed way of thinking to constantly try and find a way to live through any situation, there are times that it may literally lead to life of only agony and to make euthanasia illegal is a very morally corrupt and indifferent thing to do when that may free that person from their suffering .There are times that it may even be mental that person may have no one in their lives and is deathly sick and they may have a chance of survival but it may lead them to a lonely and horrible life. This moral dilemma cant be easily solved because of special religious concepts that linger around and even great threats to the rights of woman like the pro life situation which was happening in america that life must prevail but once again this annoying desire to bombard people with this idea that morality must be over anything and everything is an actual danger is because it leads to situations of constant physical and mental sufferings but not death.I find it a weak fear towards death that which comes for a lack emotional intelligence my desired fix for this would be to incorporate more different cultures that have very great ways of handling the concept of life and death like the mexican tradition that of is the Day of the Dead it combines the ancient Aztec custom of celebrating ancestors with All Souls Days. They instead have constantly mourn the dead they celebrate the memory of the dead as though to say may we have them physically but in memory so lets celebrate that notion.

Should exams be abolished: After discussion.

We decided to have a discussion in school about exams if they should be removed from schools entirely or not so we had made teams of people who would have discussion about the topic. And this is my synopsis of the debate especially my opinion

The main problem that people had with the exam in the debate was that why must it bring stress and strain to be someone of knowledge or even respected, how could knowing complex mathematics ever help in day to day situations. But the issue with their argument would be the fact that if you want to be someone of professional work you must be prepared. That if means you want to be a doctor and you deal in life and death situations you must be not only prepared with the knowledge from the exams and studying but also the mental preparation that the exam can also simulate that stress in genuine form. Why its also mandatory for teenagers its a simulation of that fact that prepare yourself that these expectations be met with the most effort you can bring. But an important distinction that someone made in the debate was if one desired a humanitarian way of life for an example a writer what would a biology exam do and my answer to that is the again the important lesson within the fact if that route does not work out what would be your solution to that problem. But another strong argument is what if there is an alternative or what if we try to have a functioning society without an exam like things, the issue with that would be that lets say you try to enter a job and the because of the fact exam like functions do not exist anyone could simply apply for an interview can count as a test or exam of your set of skills for exact job and in schools would be the worst without any exams the way to test someones understanding of that topic would be very hard and the number of actual learning students would diminish. The main conclusion to my argument was that for hierarchal society to function there must be a kind function to simulate many events and pressure for the ultimate result especially in a state like this in the world with a very high population and climate change.
